Giggs: I laughed the first time I saw Ronaldo play!

Ryan Giggs has uncovered he knew Cristiano Ronaldo would have been extraordinary when he saw him turn John O'Shea back to front as a youthful whippersnapper for Sporting against Manchester United in 2003.

Ronaldo secured a move to United after his amazing display against them in an amicable conflict and has since gone ahead to end up one of the best footballer ever.

What's more, Giggs, who played nearby Ronaldo for a long time before he exited to join Real Madrid, has opened up about the first occasion when he saw the Portugal star play, saying seeing him shredding O'Shea made them laugh away on the substitutes seat!

"You see Ronaldo get this show on the road the ball, and you see him turn John O'Shea back to front, and you're having a little chuckle to yourself," Giggs told ITV in front of Portugal's 2-0 win over France in Euro 2016 last.

"He simply lit up the amusement, every one of the chaps were conversing with him after the diversion and I recollect that we were tending to the mentor and everyone was pondering what we were sitting tight for.
